Motorcycle Passenger Training in Ankara

Who is it suitable for?

If you have basic motorcycle control and are preparing to carry passengers, you can attend this training. However, if you have difficulty with basic movements, you may need to develop these skills first. Before participating, share your experience and the motorcycle you will use with the school.

Rider and passenger communication

Before setting off, agree how to signal readiness, discomfort or the need for a break. Then, you evaluate the mounting and dismounting order, grip and foot position with the instructor according to the motorcycle you will use. Also, discuss the pillion rider’s questions before the ride begins.

What is evaluated in practice?

The motorcycle may respond differently with a passenger. Under the instructor’s guidance, you practise setting off, stopping, low-speed control and braking in a suitable sequence. The aim is to understand the changed load and develop sound preparation habits. Speed and pushing limits are not part of this training.

Motorcycle and equipment preparation

Check that the motorcycle is suitable for a passenger, and review its load limits and the manufacturer’s instructions. Both rider and passenger need suitable protective equipment. Therefore, please discuss participation with your own vehicle and pillion, equipment and practice conditions with the school before your appointment. Check the passenger footrests before entering the practice area. Agree with your passenger on how to communicate when moving and stopping. Do the first repetitions at a low speed under the supervision of the instructor.

Lesson duration and appointment

According to the current price table, the programme is a total of 8 lesson hours: 4 lesson hours per day for 2 days. Clarify the date, start time and practice plan with the school prior to registration.

Training location, motorcycle and instructor

Our school centre is at Büyükesat Mahallesi Koza 1. Cadde No:161/A, Gaziosmanpaşa, Çankaya / Ankara. Confirm the meeting point and practice area at the time of appointment. Also, find out the motorcycle and equipment arrangements according to the programme you choose.
