About us

Training focused on the rider, beyond the licence

At our centre in Büyükesat, we build a progressive programme around each rider's experience, physical fit and target motorcycle.

From basic controls and low-speed balance to emergency braking and reading traffic, we explain the reasons behind every skill. This helps turn test-course exercises into safe habits that work in everyday riding.

01The right motorcycle

Vehicle selection based on your height, level and target licence category.

02Progressive practice

Measurable, controlled progress that strengthens the foundations.

03Safe technique

Practical riding test

Eight key steps from the course to traffic

Practise each step with correct observation, balance and control, rather than simply memorising the movements.

Quick answers

Before you start training

For a more detailed question, tell us about your experience and goal on WhatsApp.

I have never ridden a motorcycle. Can I join the training?

Yes. After an initial assessment, you can start with the basics on a motorcycle suited to your height, goal and experience.

What is the difference between A1, A2 and A motorcycle licences?

A1 is limited to 125 cm³ and 11 kW. A2 is limited to 35 kW and a power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg. Category A covers high-powered motorcycles once the required age and experience conditions are met.

At what age can I get a motorcycle licence?

The minimum age is 16 for A1 and 18 for A2. Category A requires age 20 and at least two years of A2 experience; applicants aged 24 or over do not need prior A2 experience.

Do you offer automatic and manual licence training?

Automatic or manual options for A1, A2 and A can be arranged depending on the programme and vehicle availability. The effect of the transmission choice on your licence is explained before registration.

What documents are required for a motorcycle licence?

Usually an identity document, education details, driver medical report, biometric photograph and any existing driving licence are required. Applicants under 18 also need parent or guardian consent; the current list is confirmed before registration.

How long does motorcycle licence training take?

The duration depends on the licence category, your existing licence, theory test status and progress in practical riding. The exact lesson and test schedule is arranged during the registration period.

Does training take place only on the test course?

No. Depending on the programme, training also includes controlled-area basics, traffic observation, safe riding, road riding, riding with a passenger and motorcycle adaptation.

Is protective equipment used during practical training?

Yes. Suitable motorcycle protective equipment, especially a helmet, is checked before the lesson. If you have your own equipment, its suitability can be assessed with the instructor.

Can I take adaptation training on my own motorcycle?

A private adaptation programme can be arranged after assessing the motorcycle's technical condition, insurance and suitability for the training area. Licence courses and private riding training have different requirements.

What affects motorcycle licence prices in Ankara?

Fees may vary with the selected A1, A2 or A category, your existing licence, theory training status, practical programme and current official charges. The up-to-date total cost is explained item by item before registration.

How do I get a MOTOPORTER motorcycle transport quote?

Call MOTOPORTER on 0546 673 95 95 and share the motorcycle model, whether it is operational, and the collection and delivery addresses to request a local or intercity transport quote.
