Who is it suitable for?
Experienced riders changing models or learning how a new motorcycle responds can benefit from this training. It may be necessary to re-evaluate previous habits when the motorcycle’s weight, fit, controls and riding feel change. First, you discuss with the instructor your previous experience and your goal with the new motorcycle.
Getting to know the motorcycle
You review riding position, access to the controls, the motorcycle’s basic features and pre-ride checks. If you will be participating with your own vehicle, the instructor will evaluate the technical condition, insurance and space suitability in advance.
Getting used to the motorcycle in a controlled area
In the controlled training area, you work on starting, stopping, low-speed balance and turns. This way, you gradually increase the level of practice while getting to know the reactions of the new motorcycle.
Repeat as needed
You determine with the instructor the points that make you feel different from your previous motorcycle. Then, with feedback, you clarify priorities for subsequent work. You also evaluate the need for road training.
Lesson duration and day plan
The current adaptation programme takes a total of 8 lesson hours: 4 lesson hours per day for 2 days. You clarify the appointment and the motorcycle you will use before registration. Therefore, share the model of your new vehicle and your previous riding experience during planning.
Motorcycles and equipment used
You and the instructor choose the motorcycle according to your height, level and goal. Share your automatic or manual vehicle preference and the model of your own motorcycle, if any, in the interview. You clarify the motorcycle and equipment arrangements before the lesson. The instructor checks the suitability of protective equipment, especially the helmet.
If you want to train with your own motorcycle, the instructor must evaluate the technical condition, insurance and training area suitability in advance. You can get information from the training phone line for model suitability.
